Clean and simple sometimes is the best answer when figuring out how to style your room! I tend to gravitate towards softer palettes {keeping the room light and airy} in hopes that my accessories will add the pop that I need to balance out the softer tones! This is when art becomes a great accent piece…

In this particular bedroom, designer Minnette Jackson did just that! The client wanted a room that felt both cozy and calm and Minnette worked wonders in mixing old and new pieces in the space. In order to bring the room a little more up to date, we decided to do an abstract piece over the fireplace. By keeping the tones neutral,  adding just a touch of the teal color, the art became a great focal point without taking away from the overall feel of the bedroom!
